The West Point Society of North Florida, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Florida as a not for profit corporation on October 17, 2001. 

The Mission of the West Point Society of North Florida is to further the principles and welfare of the United States Military Academy in Northeast Florida through an organization (“Society”) consisting of Graduates and Friends of West Point.

Below is the Schedule of our TENTH annual commemoration (August 12th) of the  parade and ceremony in St. Augustine that closed the 2nd Seminole War, August 15th, 1842.

Also attached is the schedule for the very first, "Convention of Seminole War Historians" to be held that weekend, of which the parade is a part. 

GRADS SHOULD NOTE IN PARTICULAR the address by John and Mary Lou Missall  Saturday evening entitled: "St. Augustine is Healthy and Delightful: Capt. John Rogers Vinton in the Second Seminole War." Vinton, 1817, entered the Academy at West Point at the age of 14 and finished all of the required courses in 2 1/2 years!!

The Parade and Ceremony, and the Missall address are free and open to the public. For those who want to attend the whole convocation, registration information is on the schedule.
